At 1,200 metres in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, our cattle experience cool summers, cold winters and open alpine pastures—conditions that resemble the Scottish Highlands where the breed originated. Their thick coats, hardiness and natural grazing instincts are perfectly suited to this environment, allowing them to thrive as nature intended.
Free to roam and pasture-fed
Our cattle spend their days grazing through bushland, browsing native grasses and moving freely through the landscape. We believe Highland cattle are at their best when they're able to express their natural behaviours. Calm, healthy cattle begin with a low-stress life.
Handled with care
While our cattle live naturally, we provide regular health checks, quality mineral supplementation, strategic parasite management and attentive husbandry throughout the year. Our goal is simple: healthy, contented cattle raised with respect.
