Glenstrae Natural Farm sits at 1,200 metres in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales, just outside Jindabyne. Bordered on three sides by Kosciuszko National Park, it is ecologically-rich - where alpine bushland meets open pasture, where Black Sally, Manna Gum and tea tree shape the landscape, and where wildlife way outnumbers people.

The Snowy Mountains are central to everything we do. The altitude brings cool summers, frosty winters and a landscape unlike anywhere else in Australia. It's a place of clean air, clear water and changing seasons—a wild and rugged environment that naturally suits Highland cattle and closely mirrors how the breed has lived for centuries. Our cattle are free to graze, browse and roam much as they were bred to do, developing into sound, hardy animals with the calm temperament and longevity for which the breed is known.
